To be admitted into our home, there are certain criteria that need to be followed.

Abigail Manor opens its doors to any individuals who:

• Are 18 years of age and older
• Are Ambulatory
• Are not in isolation or confinement for behavioral control
• Are not in continuous medical or nursing care and treatment
• Do not require the use of physical or chemical restraint

We conduct interviews with prospective applicants as a way of assessing whether our facility can sufficiently meet their needs. As soon as residents get admitted, they or their representative will enter into a written agreement with management. This agreement will include a statement of all fees, our refund policy, consent to release medical information, provisions for continuous assessment, and policies on transfers and discharges, etc.

Primary consideration will be given to applicants who are developmentally disabled. Each applicant will be considered on an individual case basis.
